Chapter 362 Slight Problem

Gillean's p.o.V.

I know that the others will ask me about the dresses the girls are going to wear, too bad they weren't wearing their dresses yet, not that I would have told them anything.

Ever since we had to pick out our outfit for the Introduction Ceremony, I have been teasing Roan. I have shown him the most awful outfits I could find or that I could think of, and each time he didn't disappoint with his reaction. I like the occasional pink accent in my outfit, but wearing a suit in different colors of pink is even too much for me.

Casimir is the first one to see me walk into the living room, and the look on his face tells me that he is surprised about my outfit, he probably assumed, like Roan, that I would choose something extravagant.

"This is not what I had expected." Casimir says and I see Rowan slowly turning around.

"Neither was I, but you definitely look amazing, my Dear." Roan says as he gets out of his seat and walks towards me, and as I had suspected, Jaylen asks me what Morgan is wearing.

"She is wearing a dark green lace undergarment set with a black see-through robe." I say while I hide behind Roan.

Jaylen is growling and has trouble staying in control of Midnight, I raise my hands in mock surrender and slowly take a few steps back.

"You asked what she was wearing and I'm telling you the truth, that is what she was wearing. They were still working on her makeup and their dresses were still inside the clothing bags." I respond.

"It isn't funny, Gillean. It is very difficult to control him when Midnight feels jealous, even when he knows that you have a Mate and that you would never be interested in a female." Jaylen growls.

To everyone else in the room, it was funny, but let's not point that out to Jaylen, or he might decide to kill me anyway.

"If Casimir or Amir had asked me that question, the answer would have been similar; each girl was only dressed in underwear and a robe." I state, hoping to calm down Jaylen and Midnight.

The only thing it accomplishes is that Casimir and Amir are annoyed with me, but it doesn't bother me. The three of them are just easy targets at the moment, they have to wait until their Mates are done getting dressed, while Roan and I get to stay together.

"Did you hear what Damon had to deal with when the guests arrived?" Jaylen asks and I shake my head.

I listened to Jaylen as he tells me about what happened at the front door and I'm glad that Giselle made the punishments for breaking her rules clear to Damon.

"Even if Alpha Gustav decides to bring in the unmated Pack-members as requested, it still won't make a difference, because instead of placing them under supervision, the Elders will pay their territory an unusual amount of visits during the year, and each of them will be unannounced." Roan says.

That was a condition from Damon himself, because he didn't want anyone to have a chance to disobey the rules without any consequences.

Alpha Dan will also have to face consequences, but from what we understand, everyone did try to make the future Luna understand that breaking those rules wouldn't be smart.

"What do you think your Father will do about Lily? As the future Luna, she should have known better than to go against the rules on the invitation." I ask Casimir.

"Dad actually discussed that with Giselle, he wanted her to have a say in this as well. We all understand that's certain thanks are out of an Alpha's control without an Alpha command in place, but I have a feeling that Alpha Dan deliberately didn't give her an Alpha order.

I have met the guy a few times over the years and he knows our laws and how strongly my Father feels about them. It wouldn't surprise me if Alpha Dan makes certain recommendations to Dad on how to punish the future Luna." Casimir answers me.

I hadn't thought about it that way,

but to tell you the truth, I can understand why Alpha Dan might have to resort to this way of correcting the future Luna's behavior. Sometimes you nee

straight and I guess that is what Alpha Dan did.

"Smart guy. Let's see if we can find out how often Alpha Dan has tried to put her back in her place. I doubt this is the first time she dressed provocatively in skimpy dresses, and I can imagine that after trying many times to correct her behavior and getting nowhere, you want to give up. Then getting an invitation from the King with very explicit rules can solve your problem." Amir says.

About half an hour before dinner, the hairdresser and the makeup artist leave the

King's private floor, meaning that the girls will be out shortly.

The first thing that alerts us to the girls being on their way to the living room is the clicking of heels somewhere down the hallway, the second thing that alerts us is the heavy breathing of Jaylen, Casimir and Amir as each of them is able to smell their mates and all three of them slowly rise to their feet.

We can hear the girls whispering, but it is too soft for us to actually hear what they

are saying and all three males growl.

"Can't they walk any faster?" Casimir grumbles under his breath and I wonder if

he paid attention to the footwear the girls have been wearing for the past few weeks.noveldrama

"Do you think that they pay enough attention to their Mates?" I ask teasingly, while leaning closer to Roan.

He shrugs his shoulders, even though he knows what I am talking about. We both had admired their balance while walking in those deathtraps, as Roan calls them and I kind of agree with him.

"You didn't see the four and five inch heels your Mates were walking in, I am surprised they managed to walk from one side of the room to the other side." Roan says.

Jaylen, Casimir and Amir have turned their backs on the doorway to look at Roan and are now missing the entrance of their Mates.

"Stay put, I want to see their faces when they see the three of you." I tell them through the mind-link. "Good thing that you are all marked or we could have had a slight problem."
