Alpha Twins And Their Hybrid Mate

Chapter 36

TWINS POV

While trying to control the beasts within us during that painful full moon, our need for our mate was at its peak. We knew that we needed Ella back now, more than ever. Now that we've found her. We wanted her here to break this damn curse.

Waking up the following morning was something else that we weren't used to.

Our heads were splitting like we'd been headbutting bricks walls or something like that.

We felt drugged and really out of it. But Nathan went to Tristan's room and laid down at the end of his bed.

"Do you remember dad tasing me?" Tristan asked.

"I think so. It's a blur." Nathan mumbled. And Tristan sat up on his bed looking around, wondering how the hell they got back to their bedrooms. Their dad must have brought them back somehow. With the help of his Beta no doubt.

"We need to tell him." Tristan finally said, waiting for Nathan's reaction. He knew that Nathan's feelings for Ella went beyond the curse and wanting to break it. But now, we needed to find her and get her back here. Tristan knew that he was being selfish and Nathan wanted to make sure that she was ready to handle it. But Tristan knew that they weren't going to last too many more full moon's before they killed each other or themselves.

"I know. I just don't want him to hurt her." Nathan said.

"Don't worry about that. We'll deal with it when the time comes." Tristan said, climbing out of bed and putting on some shorts that were next to the bed.

They walked out of Tristan's room and staggered downstairs to their dad's office and knocked on the door.

"Come in." Dad sang out. So Tristan opened the door and they both walked in and sat behind his desk after Tristan closed the door.

"How are you feeling?" Dad asked, leaning back on his chair. Trying to take in our expressions. But we just looked at each other. Not knowing exactly how to say what we needed to say. He was gonna be pissed that we kept this from him.

"We found our fated mate." Nathan blurted out, causing Tristan to snap his head in Nathan's direction. He was surprised that Nathan was so willing to just admit that to dad. He didn't seem to care what dad thought. That wasn't like him.

"When the hell did that happen?" Dad asked.

"We've known her for a couple of months." Tristan said, making sure that Nathan wasn't going to be the only one that got an ass whooping here. Dad had to know that we both knew about her.

"Dad. There's a problem. She's human. Or possibly an omega. We're not sure." Nathan said. And we sat there watching our dad's face contort into all sorts of different expressions before he finally rested on anger.

"No fucking way." Dad yelled, making the windows in his office shake. "No way would the Moon Goddess give my brilliant Alpha's such a weak fucking mate." He continued, slamming his fists on the desk.

We knew he was never going to like that part. That was part of the reason why Nathan never wanted to tell him. And now Tristan was seeing why.

"Dad, please calm down." Nathan pleaded, trying to get him to listen to them. But their father was furious. How could the Moon Goddess do this to them? They are not weak Alpha's. Why would they be given a weak mate that they would have to protect from every little thing.

"Alright. Here's what we're gonna do. You're going to mark this human so it will ease the pain of the curse. And afterwards I will take you to every wolf pack in the country to find your second chance mate and you will reject the weakling." Dad instructed. Looking slightly proud of himself for coming up with a solution to their problem.

Tristan looked at Nathan and immediately he could tell that Nathan was fighting with his wolf. His wolf was angry. His wolf was ready for this fight with their father, but Nathan was trying to control him.

"I think that is a reasonable solution." Tristan said, looking at Nathan wearily. And Nathan looked up at Tristan with a murderous gaze.

"Well, how the hell are we going to do that if we can't find her?" Nathan asked. And their dad stood up from his chair and leaned on the desk on his fists, causing his knuckles to turn white.

"What is that supposed to mean?" Dad asked. And Nathan stood up to look his dad in the face.

"She left. She ran away. Her mother and stepfather were abusing her and Leia is the reason she left. So, maybe you should be thanking that little bitch for chasing off our mate." Nathan said through gritted teeth.

Dad didn't like the tone that Nathan was taking with him. No one disrespected dad. Not even us. And Nathan talking to dad like that, meant that he was serious about Ella and he didn't want anything to happen to her. Tristan wasn't even sure if Nathan would reject Ella. It might just be Tristan.

Tristan had a feeling that if it came down to it, Nathan might choose Ella over being Alpha of our pack. He had a good excuse, Tristan would be there to take over. And Tristan was willing to lead the pack and find his second chance mate, so he could have the pack. Nathan would live happily with Ella. If that's possible.

As soon as we got cleaned up and looked half respectable, we went next door to see Wendy.

She was home alone and she let us inside and we went to the living room where she sat down and she had papers scattered all over the coffee table.

"What do you want?" Wendy asked, talking to us like she was really pissed at us. She was barely looking at us and when she let us in the house, she wasn't that excited to see us.

"We want to talk about Ella. Do you have any idea where she could have gone? Did she talk to you about any place that she might go?" Nathan asked, sitting on the chair opposite Wendy. But she let out a sigh and looked up at him.noveldrama

"Why do you care? It's your fault she ran off." Wendy said.

"And we're trying to find her and bring her home. Please?" Nathan pleaded. Wendy could tell that he wasn't kidding. He missed her and he needed her. He wanted her back. Wendy had already figured out that Ella was their mate without anyone having to tell her. And she knew that this had to be hard on them.

A part of her was happy about that. But then she saw the look on Nathan's face and she couldn't help but feel sorry for him.

"She had mentioned wanting to return to Seattle. But she doesn't have any relatives or any friends there. I don't know where she would be living. I just know that Seattle is familiar to her." Wendy explained.

Nathan nodded his head in understanding and he looked at the papers that were scattered all over the coffee table. They didn't really make any sense, but they could tell that Wendy was trying to make sense of them. It was weird. Different maps of places that we didn't recognise. Was she trying to find Ella as well?

We left Wendy's house and started walking towards ours, but we stopped at the

car.

"We don't even know if she's alright. She could be in trouble for all we know." Nathan said.

"I know. Anything could have happened to her by now." Tristan agreed, but Nathan just looked at him in disgust.

"Don't pretend to start caring about her now? You're ready to use her and then dump her. Just like everyone said we were going to do to her." Nathan growled at Tristan.

Tristan stood there trying to think of the right thing to say, but he knew that there wasn't anything that he could say to calm Nathan down right now. He was holding on by a thread.

"Marilyn." Tristan said.

"What?" Nathan asked, confused.

"We're gonna go have a chat with Marilyn. She might know more than Wendy." Tristan said. So they got in the car and they peeled out of the driveway and down the road.

When we arrived at the rundown piece of crap house we walked up the rickety stairs and Tristan started pounding on the door.

We heard some noise inside the house and the door slowly opened from the inside and Marilyn was standing there, looking at us really wearily.

"What do you want?" She asked, not opening the door more than a crack. So Nathan rolled his eyes and pushed the door open and Marilyn jumped back away from the door.

"I'll call the police." Marilyn said, her eyes wide and looking at us like she was in real danger.

"Would you relax, woman? We just want to know where the hell Ella would have gone.” Tristan said. And she looked us up and down like she was trying to size us up. She was probably wondering what we wanted with Ella. Not that we would ever tell her.

"The only place I can think of is Seattle." Marilyn said. And we looked at each other, knowing that we had already been told that.

“She doesn't have anyone in Seattle that she's close to.” Nathan said, looking exasperated by the whole conversation.

"That's not true. Her shrink is there. She got really close with her shrink. She was sending her money every month. If she has gone anywhere then it would definitely be to that woman." Marilyn said. And Nathan remembered something about a shrink. But he couldn't remember a name or anything like that. Ella had mentioned her once but that was it. It wasn't in detail or anything like that. "We need her information. Name, address, phone number." Tristan demanded. Marilyn nodded her head and walked into the kitchen to write the information down on a piece of paper. We followed her into the kitchen and we looked around this house and still couldn't believe that Ella was living here. It's disgusting. "You know, I really want Ella back as well. She's my daughter." Marilyn said. Nathan and Tristan looked at each other with anger on their faces. Marilyn obviously didn't know that we knew what she was doing to her. Starving her, beating her, letting her husband do whatever he wanted. She must have thought that we were real idiots.

"I really hope that you can bring her back." Marilyn said, plastering on a fake smile while handing Tristan the piece of paper with Celie's information.

As soon as Tristan looked at it, he looked up at Nathan and then at Marilyn. "Celie Nash?" Tristan asked. Marilyn shook her head, completely clueless to what

she had just given us. But Nathan snatched the piece of paper off of Tristan to see

for himself.

"I can't guarantee that she'll be there. But that would be the first place to look." Marilyn said. We didn't know why she was being so helpful, but she's just given us something that we never thought of before.

Celie Nash is an extremely famous shrink and that's the woman that was helping Ella accept her wolf. Because she's the Beta's mother of the Heartstone Pack. And she worked with Dean Calvert.

"Do you know Dean Calvert?” Tristan asked. Immediately the smile was wiped off of Marilyn's face and it started to turn red with anger. We knew that was a yes. She definitely knew him and she didn't like him by the looks of it. “He's an asshole. I never wanted to hear that name ever again." Marilyn sneered and we looked at each other again. There was definitely a story behind that.

"Tell us." Nathan demanded. And Marilyn looked at us strangely, she didn't want to tell us but she knew that we weren't going to leave until she had the full story. How the hell did they know people from the Heartstone pack?

"I told you, he's an asshole. He abandoned me when I was pregnant with Ella and

left me to raise her alone. My life only got worse from there. It's all because of him. He just left one day and never came back.” Marilyn complained, looking like she was expecting sympathy from us or something. But that was the last thing she was ever going to get from us.

We stood there in shock, not believing what the hell we just heard.

This meant that Ella wasn't a weak human. She just grew up with human's so her

wolf never came out. She's a hybrid, and to make things even more interesting, she's got Alpha blood in her.
