My Lord, My Billionaire Master

Chapter 98

William Cullen was going to return home in two days, and she had not chosen his present yet.

Alice Clyne pressed her Bluetooth earpiece, maintaining her call. William Cullen did not make a single sound, probably doing the same thing as she did right now, where he switched off the microphone and busied himself with other things.

Gift.

Gift.

Choose what gift? Who knows what William Cullen would like? He had everything.

She didn't ask for a gift to please him, as long as he didn't lose his temper. But even so, she couldn't think of anything to give.

Alice Clyne thought about it until her head hurt. She held a handbag in her hands as she aimlessly walked down the street, walking in the cold night sky.

Suddenly, she stopped.

There were several vans parked along the road in front of her. There were a few people standing next to the vans, all of them carrying or holding an oversized SLR camera. They were taking pictures.

A reporter?

Alice Clyne stood at the side and looked at what they were shooting from.

She saw that across the street there was the most famous hotel in San Francisco, the Crown Holiday Inn. The entrance of the hotel was brightly lit and a red carpet was spread out from the entrance of the hotel to the roadside.

A few luxury car stopped at the door.

The person who came down from the luxury car was someone that Alice Clyne knew well. That's right, she could only be called an acquaintance now.

Because legally, there was no longer any relationship between them.

He was dressed in a suit, and held her foster father's hand as he walked from the luxury car to the hotel in high spirits.

Then, it was Patrick Miller's parents, a couple dressed in noble clothing, who kept a much lower profile than Zed Clyne.

After that, Mary Clyne, who was dressed in evening clothes, pulled Patrick Miller by the arm and they both walked into the hotel. Mary Clyne leaned on him and said something intimately.

Separated by a street, Alice Clyne couldn't see the expressions on their faces, and she only felt that they were in love.

It was them.

Alice Clyne stood by the side of the road, her fingers clutching her handbag tightly.

The reporters were chatting as they took photos.

"Hurry, take two more."

"Mary Clyne is really a winner in life, marrying into a rich and powerful family, with her being the goddess of the entertainment circle, and all the members of the family following the higher class.

"What do you know? I heard that Mary Clyne's father contributed a lot to the position of the Crown Prince of Mu as the CEO."

"I heard that Patrick Miller will soon announce that he has become the new CEO of Miller."

"I've heard that the dishes at the Crown Prince Hotel are very expensive and delicious. It would be great if I could have a bite to eat."

"Please, they are having a family dinner, why would they invite us reporters?"

"Hey, we're both humans. They live in harmony and have more rights than others.

We can only take pictures while drinking here."

Family banquet.

It turned out to be a family banquet.

Alice Clyne looked at the people walking into the hotel, and watched as Mary Miller continued to hold onto Patrick Miller's hand, and said something to her foster mother.

Family harmony?

The family was very harmonious at the time, and it was even more so when she was excluded.

Alice Clyne stood there alone like a piece of wood, watching her adoptive parents entering the hotel. It was like when she was young she was brought to her relatives' home and then watched them taking Mary Clyne on their travels ... Her surname was Clyne, but she was the biggest stranger in the clan. Patrick Miller and Mary Clyne still seemed to be very close, while he had even said that he would help her, and said that he would give her a week's time, and said that they would jump out of the situation together, but she didn't know if that was true or not.

Alice Clyne looked at the bright lights of the hotel, then left.

Just like when she was young, her adoptive parents brought Mary Clyne to play. She did not cry nor make a fuss and silently turned around.

It wasn't that she didn't want to cause trouble, but she understood that there was no use in making a ruckus.

Her life seemed to be like this all the time. When faced with an unforeseen event, she was unable to resist, and could only silently endure it. It was like this for her adoptive parents, and it was the same for William Cullen.

She walked down the street alone, passing a steaming barbecue stand.

"Boss, give me some beer and kebabs."

Alice Clyne stopped and said to the boss.

The barbeque stall was bustling with noise and activity, but she was sitting in it, looking exceptionally lonely.

She sat there alone, opening a can of beer and pouring it into her mouth, a bitter taste spreading in her mouth.

One can.

Two cans.

Three cans.

Pushing away the empty beer can, Alice Clyne wiped the alcohol in her mouth. She took this opportunity when she was still conscious to check her bill and leave.

She couldn't be drunk.

Otherwise, it would be bad if William Cullen called.

"Hur hur."

As Alice Clyne walked along the road, she thought of something and laughed dumbly. Her slightly flushed face was filled with mockery.

She really failed. With her adoptive parents abandoning her, she was powerless; with Mary Clyne designing her, she was powerless; with William Cullen monitoring her 24 hours a day, she was powerless ...

Alice Clyne, when will you be able to bear with it, and when will you be able to live two days of life that truly belongs to you?

Alice Clyne laughed at herself as she walked along the side of the street with uneven steps.

Suddenly, she turned around.

On her right hand was the Light Advertising Area of a super large shopping mall. The lights were glaring bright and there was a perfume advertisement on top of it.

Alice Clyne looked a little tipsy.noveldrama

It seemed to be the perfume that Patrick Miller had recommended to her last time, and that was suitable for her.

The bottle was exquisite and gorgeous. The mouth of the bottle was shaped like that of a little elf, and with her arms wrapped around it in the shape of a heart, it gave off a luxurious feeling. The perfume that flowed within the bottle was a light pink color, and was extremely beautiful.

Next to the perfume, there was an advertisement slogan -

[My Elf, I am only willing to think of it for you.]

It was a very simple sentence.

Alice Clyne stood there, staring blankly at the advertisement passage, and did not

come to her senses for a long time.

A gust of night wind blew past, blowing her long skirt and ruffling her long hair.

The hair covered her eyes and captivated her sight.

Just for you.

For a long time, pedestrians passed by her.

She was still staring at the huge ad, at the slogan on it.

Reminiscence

Who remembers?

Patrick Miller, do you know that you still owe me your memories, yet you still dare

to brazenly advertise in perfume.

Alice Clyne thought the night wind blew past her drunk head, and she knocked on her head, and turned to leave.

When she turned around, she saw a white convertible Porsche parked by the side

of the road. Patrick Miller sat on the Driver and stared straight at her.

Time suddenly stopped at this second.

Alice Clyne stared at the people in the carriage blankly, and did not make a

sound.

Patrick Miller quietly looked at her. The wind blew at her skirt and she stood there slim and elegant, extremely pure and attractive.

Behind her, a line of words loomed on the light advertisement.

My girl, I only wish to think of you.

The word "I want" once again made Alice Clyne unable to differentiate between reality and the past. Standing on the street foolishly and looking at the people in the carriage, her elegant face revealed a perplexed look as she muttered, "Are you Patrick Miller?"

Was it that Patrick who had listened to her for everything, holding her hand and saying that he wanted to protect her and wanted to marry her?

Was it that person?

"It's me. What? Don't recognize me anymore?" Patrick Miller laughed softly,

breaking the strange atmosphere between the two.

Hearing that, Alice Clyne regained her senses, and the surrounding traffic sounds

suddenly entered her ears, waking her up.

She pressed her hand to her head. Drinking wine was really confusing.

"What's the matter with you?"

Patrick Miller looked at her, a little worried.

Alice Clyne glanced at him, and the image of him and Shi Di entering the hotel

together appeared in her mind. She pursed her lips, turned and left without saying

a word.

Seeing that, Patrick Miller immediately opened the car door and got off, quickly catching up to her, "why are you running?"

Alice Clyne walked towards an alley that was not as brightly lit as the others, and

her footsteps were a little shaky.

Patrick Miller grabbed her arms from behind, forcefully pulling her back.

"Let go."

Alice Clyne shook off his hand with a distinct indifference.

"What's the matter with you?" Patrick Miller looked at her in shock.

The two of them stood in the quiet alley. The light was dimmer, and when the wind

blew, the scent of her wine wafted over him.

Patrick Miller looked at her in disbelief, "You drank?"

She never drinks.

"I'll be leaving first."

Alice Clyne didn't want to say anything. She only wanted to leave, so she lifted

her leg and moved it forward, her arm was once again grabbed by Patrick Miller.

"what's wrong? Did something happen? Why do you drink? " Patrick Miller asked worriedly.

His gentle and concerned voice caused Alice Clyne's drunk head to become muddled for a second.

She forced herself to wake up and shake off his hands, but this time Patrick Miller did not let go.

The warmth of his fingertips clung to her.

"Let go!"

Alice Clyne's tone turned cold.

"If you don't tell me clearly, I won't let you go. Why did you run away the moment

you saw me? Weren't you fine earlier on?" He admitted that he did not like her leaving a back in front of him.

"Didn't you hold a feast with Mary Clyne at the hotel? What are you doing here?"Alice Clyne retorted coldly.

"I came up with an excuse when I saw you in the hotel. Is that why you're drinking?"

Was she jealous?

Patrick Miller looked at her with his long and narrow eyes. A smile flashed past his eyes as he gently explained, "in fact, you don't need to think too much into it. The reason I organized the Family Banquet was because your father helped me be

the CEO."

"I don't want to know how good you are. That's not my dad, is it? They don't want

me anymore. "Alice Clyne interrupted him coldly and retreated, leaning on the

cold wall.

His hand was still on her arm.

"Alice Clyne" Patrick Miller looked at her, and his face filled with pain. But it doesn't

matter, I want you!"

"I know it doesn't matter." Alice Clyne interrupted him once again, and said

indifferently, "You have nothing to do with me, do you?"

Patrick Miller's face froze in the dim light, "What did you say?"

He had nothing to do with her?

Alice Clyne pushed his hand away. This time, he did not clench her fist tightly, and

allowed her to push away.
