Morgan asked, "What about the locked phones?"

This had become the most pressing issue. The professors from the Computer Science Department had still failed to crack Noelle's program, leaving them feeling somewhat humiliated. How could they not break a code written by a mere freshman?

Bruce cleared his throat and said, "Since the forum posts have been proven to be defamatory and untrue, those who participated in spreading falsehoods about Noelle should certainly apologize."

Noelle was a bit surprised by Bruce's swift resolution. Had it been settled so quickly?

Morgan didn't press further after hearing Bruce's statement, but he couldn't help wondering if this lenient approach was setting a bad precedent for how Noelle's actions were handled.

At that moment, Patrick approached Noelle. "Noelle, what exactly did you hide in your program on the school forum? We've been working on it all afternoon and night, but we still couldn't crack the code!"

His curiosity was the main reason he came to the office.

Noelle glanced at him. "It's simple. I can show you if you have a computer."

Bruce stood up. "You can use mine. I'm curious to see how a freshman managed to stump the entire Computer Science Department."

Noelle walked over to the computer and began typing swiftly, her fingers flying across the keyboard. She quickly wrote a small piece of code and explained how it worked.

After listening to her explanation, Patrick chuckled in surprise. "So, that's how it works. This little trick of yours is something most people wouldn't think of. Did your family arrange special tutoring for you before?"

Bruce turned to Frank. "Mr. Liddell, how did you nurture such a talent? We've had many top students at our school, but someone as gifted as Noelle is truly one of a kind."

Frank's expression grew a bit awkward. He forced a strained smile and replied, "She most probably learned that on her own."

Their family had never provided Noelle with any special training. If anything, they had only been a burden to her.

Noelle stepped away from the computer. None of this was particularly challenging for her. She had already mastered these skills in her previous life.

However, Patrick was thrilled. "Noelle, the school has special training courses for exceptionally talented students like you. Would you like to join?"

"She won't go!"

Frank immediately rejected the offer on her behalf. He told Noelle, "Those special courses might be part of the business school's elite program."

But considering Noelle's past conflict with the Merlock family, attending classes at the business school might expose her to further bullying.

Noelle's expression remained calm as she declined. "I really don't want to go."

Frank followed her. "Noelle, my dear sister, can we talk?"

"Don't call me that. I'm not your sister!" Irritation flashed in Noelle's eyes as she quickened her pace down the stairs, but she ran into Xenia at the landing below.

Xenia wore a smug expression. "Noelle, did Mr. York give you any disciplinary action? I told you to apologize and admit your mistake earlier, but you just wouldn't listen!"

"Noelle did nothing wrong. Why should she apologize?" Frank's voice came from behind as he descended the stairs.

Xenia's face turned as pale as a sheet. Why was Frank here?
