Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Chapter 1352

Henry ran over, and soon he and his mom were sitting together on the backyard swing, with Andre standing behind them, gently pushing. The nighttime spring breeze was cool, brushing through Mia's hair as she held her son close, planting kisses on his cheek. "Give your dad a kiss, too," she urged.

Andre leaned in from behind, and both mother and son kissed him-leaving a look of pure happiness on his face that lingered even after the moment passed.

As the night grew later and the air turned chilly, the family made their way back inside. On the way to the living room, Mia hugged her boy and sang softly, "The moon walks, and so do I-me and the moon, we're best friends."noveldrama

Henry clapped enthusiastically, his little voice bubbling with laughter. "I'm walking with Mommy!"

"Where's the moon, honey? Do you know what the moon is?" Mia asked, smiling down at him.

Henry looked up, pointing his tiny finger skyward. "Mommy, right there!"

Mia glanced up at the deep, dark sky. "That's right, it's up there."

Suddenly, Mia spotted something twinkling in the distance and pointed excitedly.

"Babe, look! Is that a comet?"

Henry's curious little face twisted as he searched for it. Where is it?

Andre grinned. "Nope, that's just an airplane light."

Mrs. Cedillo teased, "Looks like someone's sleeping on the couch tonight."

Andre just sighed.

By early March, Havenbrook University's admissions office had already sent Mia her interview date, along with a laundry list of documents she had to submit.

One morning, just after sunrise, Mia was still snuggled up in bed with Henry when her phone started ringing and woke her up. Cooper, Leo, Jamie, and Denny all called, reminding her to get her paperwork in. swñovel

Groggy and with her hair sticking out every which way, Mia rolled out of bed, phone in hand, and started

Henry rolled over, cuddling up to her and wrapping his little arms around her as he drifted back to sleep.

After breakfast, Mia called Andre. "Hey, babe, how do I use the printer in your

study? I need to print some stuff for my interview. Mind if I use it?"

Andre replied, "No need, I already printed everything for you this morning. They're on my desk. Go see if it's all there."

Surprised and delighted, Mia hurried

to his study, her little shadow trailing right behind her. On the desk, Andre had already organized everything into a folder-copies of her ID, her diploma, every tiny detail handled. He'd even gotten up early to do it all for her.

Looking at the neatly prepared documents, Mia felt a wave of gratitude. "Henry, can you believe your dad? He never brags about what he does, but he's always quietly taking care of us."

Henry, shoes already on, had climbed up onto his dad's leather chair.

Mia felt a swell of emotion. "Buddy, let's try to be good for your dad, okay? He's always thinking about us. Let's not give him a hard time."

That evening, when Andre got home, Mia met him at the door like a little puppy, planted a kiss on him, and said, “Love you, honey."

Andre, a bit confused but pleased, put his arm around her and kissed her back. "Love you too, darling."

It wasn't until dinner that Andre figured out why his wife was being extra sweet. He chuckled, "Mia, you're just so easy to make happy."

That night, Henry finally moved out of his parents' bedroom, carrying his little pillow, and went off to sleep in his own room.
