Analise was a little pissed off, even though she didn't know why.

Perhaps it was because she genuinely cared about Gideon. Another possible reason was that he was the only therian who could develop a replacement for Purification Potion.

"Ana, we'll have to use your blood for the potion, and I couldn't bear the thought of them drinking your blood. It makes me angry to even think about it." Gideon lowered his head, his eyes darkening with uncertainty.

Analise was at a loss for words. What a mad scientist. That was such a ridiculous reason to get jealous.

"You wanted to infect yourself with the same virus so you could be the first test subject who drinks my blood. Did I get it right?"

"Yeah. What's wrong with that?" Gideon stared at Analise. When he realized that she was upset, he quietly lowered his head like a kid who had done something wrong.

"You shouldn't have put yourself at risk for that. What if the experiment fails, and you die from it?" She poked at his forehead.

"Are you worried about me, Ana?" Gideon tilted his head and stared at her with a bright smile on his face.

"Who said I was worried about you?" Analise turned around.

"Ana, his stench is all over you. Are you not even going to look at me?" Gideon gnashed his teeth and glared at Finlay before he gave her a pitiable look.

Analise was speechless. Then, she asked, "Who said anything like that? Aren't I looking at you now?"

Gideon grunted and turned sideways proudly. Moments later, he threw himself into her arms. "Will you sleep with me tonight, Ana?"

When she failed to respond to him instantly, he felt sorry for himself again. "Ana, do you not want it? I won't push it. I know I'm not as good as they are."

Then, he let go of her and crouched in the corner, tracing circles on the floor, without a care about his image.

That said, Finlay and Analise seemed to be the ones looking at him. The rest of them had their heads raised and were looking at space, not daring to meet Gideon's eyes.

"Alright, alright. I'll sleep with you." Feeling helpless, Analise walked over to the corner and led him back.

"Really?" Gideon secretly glanced at her.

"Yes. Why would I lie to you?" She rubbed her eyebrows.

"Great." He hugged her immediately and raised an eyebrow at Finlay. "You're just the best, Ana!"

"Ana, why does he need to use your blood? What kind of research is this exactly? Did you agree to it? Why would Scott be okay with this?"
