The blood stirred something within Scott. He knew if he didn't take the Purification Potion now, he'd completely lose control and go berserk.

Almost immediately, he shifted into his therian form and pulled the potion from his pocket, downing it in one go.

But just as he swallowed it, he was struck with a powerful blow that sent him flying behind a starship parked in a corner of the starship station. It was Sean, who had somehow gotten back up and attacked him.

Scott happened to land in a blind spot, where his body was perfectly concealed.

Realizing that the therian he attacked had vanished into thin air, Sean tilted his head slightly. The bloodlust soon took over him again, and he charged back into the fray of battling therians.

"Ugh..." Scott lay on the ground, struggling to breathe. He was suffocating, his throat burning as if he were drowning in fire.

The conflicting sensations left him dazed. All he could do was lie on his back, enduring the pain while trying to focus on the two conflicting flows of energy inside him.

Realizing this, he struggled to sit up and concentrated on the surrounding water particles. He gathered them together with his consciousness, and soon enough, a water orb the size of a disc floated before him.

"It really is water! What on earth is going on?" he exclaimed, reaching out to poke the orb.

As if surrendering to his will, the orb glided along with the movements of his fingers.

Scott suddenly remembered the burning sensation. Stretching out his hand, he tried to control it the same way he had with the water.
